IOWA CORN INDY 250

We (me, mom, dad, gram & gramp Harves) went to the FIRST ever Indy car race at the new track in Newton, IA. We didn't get to meet Danica but it was still awesome.

Grandpa is on the Iowa Corn Promotion Board - who sponsored the race - so he got me box seats where it wasn't so loud. THANK YOU GRANDPA!!

6.23.07 Qualifying

That evening we went to the corn growers tent & had supper. We got to meet Jeff Simmons - the driver of the Ethanol car. I got his autograph. Next time I'll get Danica's - & ask her if she wants to go out sometime (she can drive.)

6.24.07 RACE DAY

The Tuttles unvailed the "bike" they made - it runs on ethanol. I got to see it up close & it is pretty cool.

ANDREW'S GRADUATION

5.25.07 Graduation Day



Mom, dad & I went all the way to Pinedale, WY to see Andrew's graduation (Dad's awesome cousin.) We left at 6:00pm on Thurs and rolled into Pinedale around 9:00am on Fri - 15 hours!!! I slept most of the way!

It was great to finally meet Andrew & Jill - because I have heard a lot about them.

This morning we went out to where mom & dad ride snowmobiles. We could drive on the logging roads. I can't wait to go with them someday!!!

Mom & dad decided to take the LONG way home. So we went through Jackson Hole and the Big Horns today. We ended up staying in Rapid City.

We stopped at Wall Drug for breakfast & walked around. My parents are sooooo embarrassing!!
