CO - DAY 2 TAKE A HIKE

Thought we would try to go on a little hike today - we ended up going 6 miles & climbed 1,080 ft.

I found the PERFECT walking stick - it made it all the way up the mountain & back to IA :)

We made to the top - it was worth it!!!! & I didn't fall off Gramp Ervin :)

Having a snack before heading back down - I made some friends :)

CO - DAY 1 BUDWEISER

Mom & I drove up to Fort Collins to see the Budweiser horses...

Mom & I dropped Dad off at the Pioneer research plot. I had to check out the corn!!!

If you look closely you can see the mountains in the distance. Wouldn't that be cool to have the mountains that close back home :)

We are off!! Headed to CO for a couple of days - Dad has to go to a research plot near Loveland. Since he will be sooo close to the mountains my folks thought we better go for a few days :)

It only took 11 hours to get out there!! They kept saying we were going to see the mountains - I started asking "Is that a mountain?" at Gillett Grove :)

Since Mom & Dad said I did so well on the drive we got to go to Chucky Cheese!!!!!!!!!!!

My first Chucky experience was awesome!!!

AQUATIC CENTER

The Claborn's came down for the weekend!!! Dad & Shannon went to help a friend at a gun show - so we got to go to the Aquatic Center in Spencer for the day instead. It was AWESOME!!! What a perfect day for a swim :)

Mom's cousin came up from AZ to visit for a few days.

While she was getting ready she put "jelly" in my hair :)

NIGHT OUT

Dad is down in Ames for the week because of this masters program. So Mom & I took the Fishers up on there offer to go see a movie with them - wish you could have been there too Dad.

The 1st movie I got to see in a theater was UP. It was pretty cool!!! & I made it through most of it :)

I had to stretch my legs after sitting so long - so Mom & I went to Oneota & I ran across the bridge a thousand times. It was an awesome evening!!

You can even see the water go under the bridge through the cracks :)

The perfect end to my night out - we stopped at Dairy Queen!! Fishers met us after the movie. Mom says the best way to contain 5 children is to stick them in the back of a truck!! Check out my dance moves :)
