DAD'S CAKE

Dad has to be gone on his birthday for work so I decided to make him a cake today :) Nothing too fancy - but I put the sprinkles & candles on all by myself!!!!! Happy Birthday Dad!!!!!!

VALLEYFAIR

We went to Valleyfair today!!!!!

Rachel & I had fun riding rides together while the "big kids" went on other rides.

I am ready for the Mild Thing!!!! Let's go!!!

We LOVED the roller coaster :)

I even got my first tattoo :)

There goes Emily, Jeff & Molly - can you believe they rode on THAT roller coaster!!! I had a great time - thanks for asking us to go along!!!!!!!!!!!!

After another big rain this week the girls called & asked if we wanted to take off & get away for the weekend. We said YES!!!

We stayed at a cool hotel with a water park the first night in Owatonna. Of course, we stopped at Cabelas while we were there :)

I got to go down the BIG water slides - that's me & Molly :)

This afternoon we headed up to the Mall of America. At the end of the day we took a break at Hooters for some hot wings :) Then we found another hotel with a pool!

I have to show you my chef/grilling skills :)

First I cleaned the beans & broke them into little pieces (they came out of our garden - yum)....

Then I placed them on the foil - they are ready to grill!!

Check these out - Dad & Mom made kabobs with bacon wrapped scallops, shrimp, mushrooms, onion, pepper, & pineapple!!!!!

You gotta see these things!!  Let's go grill Dad!!!!

When Dad grills - I grill :)  I use the little one!  

By the way, the food was delicious!!!

4th

For the 4th of July we spent the afternoon/evening up at the lakes. We rode bikes for awhile. Put the boat on the water & went over to the park to watch the free concert at the green space. & then we rode around on boat & watched the fireworks. That's all! :) It was a fun day!

X-MAS TREE - IN JULY

Dad & Mom decided to do a little landscaping project today. When we went shopping for a few plants I had my heart set on a "Christmas Tree" :) They let me pick one out!!!!

It was a fun day! I got to play with dirt & water - SWEET!!

I LOVE to help in the kitchen!! Today I got to help Mom make olive dip/spread (she is addicted to it).

Watch out for the OLIVE HAND!!!!!!!!!

YUM!!!!! I think I inherited Mom's love of olives :)
