Started off the day pickin' rock.....

& working on my tractor :)

& after all that hard work I got to go for a boat ride this evening.

Of course I had to check out the engine - that is my new favorite thing to do!!

Mom ran into Clint at the gas station this morning & he invited us to come down to go fishing tonight!!!!!!!!!!! He said the bluegills are biting at the pond. & he did not want me learning how to fish with worms :)

I practiced before we left :) I am READY!!!!!!!!!!

MEMORIAL DAY

We started off the day by going to the Memorial Day service at the Dickens cemetery. I carried flowers to the veterens for the first time.

Afterwards, we went down to Kindlespire for dinner & a walk - I ate 2 hotdogs!!

We took the boat out this evening for the first ride of the year!!! It was an AWESOME night on the water!!!!

For Mother's Day Dad & I got Mom a porch swing!! There is a funny story about this swing - you will have to ask them somtime :)

I got to help plant the vegetable garden this evening - tomatoes, peppers, green/yellow beans, leaf lettuce, onions, squash, PUMPKINS, pickles (cucumbers - they look like pickles on the package)!! It will be fun to watch it grow :)

For Mother's Day we hung out at home together. We went out & enjoyed the awesome evening on the deck. I brought out a bunch of toys....my bean bag.....my blankets.....my sleeping bag......

BV PARK

After we checked out the plot, we went to BV park for a walk since it was right down the road.

It was fun to explore a different place. The trails were cool - & they even have a tepee there!

I got to help Dad check out one of his plots today down by Linn Grove. Dad thought maybe if I helped, it would go faster.... He said he was wrong though...

We did stand counts. I can't quite count to 33 yet...

So I just moved Dad's stakes around. He said something about having 1/1000th of an acre staked off in each hybrid and how I was not supposed to move the stakes, but it was more fun to move them than it was to count!
