After the race we stopped at the Reiman Gardens in Ames to stretch our legs a little. It was awesome!!!

There is a butterfly area - I call them "butt." :) They are all around you - COOL!!!

There were all sorts of water falls & ponds. Everyone kept holding me back - I just wanted to cool off a little by taking a swim :)

I am looking forward to going back someday!!

Gramp Harves got us tickets for the INDY race down at Newton again!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVED the giant corn guy :)

I had fun playing with rocks - these weren't our seats :)

Gramp got to ride around the track before the race with one of the drivers - too bad he didn't get to ride with Danica, maybe next year :)






I have to admit I slept through the first 200 laps or so - we left at 5:00 in the morning & I was tired. I did actually see the last 30 laps & it was awesome!!!! Dan Weldon won & it was his 30 birthday, too. He gave all his winning to the flood victims in Iowa - that is pretty cool!!! Danica got 6th - maybe next time :)

Mom & I drove Gram Harves & Great Gram Johnson over to Sibley this morning. Great Gram wanted to do some shopping. I had fun checking out the town.

We ate lunch at a small shop. It was good to see you Great Gram!!!!

A cool pile of pea rock. Do they have to use it or can I keep it to play on :)

We usually drive over to the house / hole in the evening - the guys were still working at 7:30 / 8:00PM.

FATHERS DAY

HAPPY FATHERS DAY, DAD!!!!!

We went over to Gram & Gramp Harves' this afternoon for cake & ice cream to celebrate Great Gramp's 91st Birthday!!!! That is a picture of all the dads & kiddos - I wanted to play :)

The machine shed was open - so of course I had to check things out.

Then we went home & while Dad grilled I got to play in the puddles - check out my new puddle jumpers Patti :)

They dug our basement / my giant play room today!!!

I helped do the finishing touches, it was about 1/16 of an inch high here, so I used my fancy shovel to remove a little soil. Hey Dad, this looks like an Everly soil. What do you think?

I got to bring home the tractor tent for the weekend - that thing is AWESOME!!!!! Thanks for letting me borrow it!!!!

I am not the only one who had fun - who is that ? :)

This afternoon Mom & Dad drug me around the home show & some houses/mansions up at the lakes. This is me on the ride home - LOOK I didn't even drop my potato chip!! Boy I must have been tired if I didn't finish a chip :)

Next we went to the farm. The crew was there working on the grain dryer. They are almost done!! That thing is awesome - Mom & Gramp will really be ready to dry corn this fall :)

I had a very busy afternoon - it started off down at the Webb park. (Stay tuned for the rest of the day in other blogs)

I liked to push the merry-go-round & put rocks on it :) Mom & Dad said they used to play on the same one when they were kids - that thing must be OLD!!

I liked the slide the BEST!!!!!!

After the park we stopped at the station & saw Gramp Ken. I got to check out Pete's forklift. & I got ICECREAM!!!
