BACK TO THE FAIR

Dad has to work at the Pioneer booth today so Mom & I are going to see him & check out the rest of the fair. ( Hamer thinks I look like Bob from the Quiznos commercials - what do you think?)

I got to watch my friends - Riley & Taylor. They were in the costume class horse show & got a blue ribbon. Good job!!

The fair is over so we went up for a boat ride - it was a beautiful evening!! I even got to DRIVE!!!

Dad, Mom & I spent the WHOLE day at home - that doesn't happen very often. Dad studied most of the day while Mom & I played - & cleaned.

Dad & I caught the end of the BIG game.

Did you see that Mom - Iowa State actually won!!

I found Dad's helmet today - I am ready to ride!!! I heard there is snow in the Big Horns!

Dad said that we can't go until after harvest-- but I want to snowmobile NOW!!!! Come on Dad, can't we go now :-(

Mom & Dad looked at boats Labor Day weekend for fun - they weren't really expecting on getting one - but they saw one that caught their eye (& I begged.) They ended up buying a 1995 Chris Craft. We took her out for a cruise tonight. We pretty much had the whole lake to ourselves!!

Me, my bottle, my cookie monster, & my boat. What more could a kid want!!

Captain DAD!! I want to drive.

It was an awesome evening - a little chilly but not bad.

I can't wait for next summer!!!

CLAY COUNTY FAIR

9.9.07 Fair Day!

Mom said if I help with the laundry we can go to the fair this afternoon. Do you think me sitting in the basket helped?

I saw a lot of animals at the fair, including this pig. Dad said that is where porkchops come from! Can you get porkchops in a bottle?

I got to pet a horse.

I saw chickens, turkeys, ducks, pheasants, sheep, etc... Grandpa Ken said stick with the porkchops and forget the chicken!







I got to see the Budweiser Clydesdales. They were huge!!







We looked at some new machinery...





& some old machinery.

I also got to see the grand champion pumpkin - it was BIG! Dad said something about the squash vine borers killing all of my pumpkins. He is really going to have to step up to the plate if he wants to raise good pumpkins!

This walking still wears me out, but I can't wait to go back to see more!!!

CARS

Last year Dad celebrated his birthday out in Bristol, Tenn - I remember the loud cars:) This year we watched the race on TV and watched CARS during the commericals!!

My wish came true!!! Gram & Gramp Harves went to DesMoines for Iowa Corn meetings this week. They had an auction one night - the money went to Iowa Corn. On the auction was a car signed by my GIRLFRIEND - DANICA PATRICK!!!! Can you believe it - I have a car signed by her!!! Thank you Grandma & Grandpa - I LOVE IT!!!! Dad and Mom say that I have to leave it in the box so I don't drool on it! It is sitting right by my crib :-)

ARNOLDS PARK

Grandma Harves has been wanting to get all the grand kids up to the park this summer. We finally made her wish come true.

I LOVED the train!!! Dad & Mom rode with me.

Luke & Aunt Kristi rode with us too.

Dad & I tried to get on the BIG roller coaster but they said we aren't tall enough - maybe next year:(

They did let Mom & I ride on the carousel - that was awesome!!!



Brenna, Nate & Elise got to ride on the small roller coaster. That looked like fun.





I can't wait to go back someday Grandma!!!

MY BAPTISM

I was baptized today. I was pretty good - I only had a couple of things to say during the sermon:)

That is me with my folks, Gram & Gramp Harves, Gram & Gramp Essick, Great Gramp Harves & Great Gram Johnson.

Me & the Fisher gang - Luke, Nate, Elisa & Brenna.

After the church service, I had a cup of coffee (actually Gramp Ken did - that stuff can stunt your growth) & then we all went up to Minerva's for brunch.

After everyone ate Dad helped me unwrap a few gifts. That is pretty fun!!

It was a special day!!
